Proposed Local Planning Policy LPP4.5 Carawatha Development Design Guidelines

Local Planning Policy 4.5 Carawatha Development Design Guidelines (LPP4.5) was advertised for public comment from 12 March to 5 April 2019 as endorsed by Council at the Special Council Meeting held on 6 March 2019. No Objections were received during this time and therefore LPP4.5 is adopted without modification.

In April 2019, Council resolved to approve minor modifications to Local Planning Policies LPP1.14 Temporary Structures and LPP 1.9 Height of Buildings without advertising.

Proposed Local Planning Policy LPP1.18 Canning Bridge Activity Centre Plan - Bonus Building Height Provisions

In March 2019, Council endorsed proposed Local Planning Policy 1.18 Canning Bridge Activity Centre Plan - Bonus Building Height Provisions (LPP1.18) for advertising. If adopted, LPP1.18 will clarify how discretion would apply to proposals for buildings above the standard heights.

In March 2019, Council endorsed the revised Local Planning Policy 1.4 (LPP 1.4) Provision of public art in development proposals for advertising. If adopted, LPP 1.4 will provide a clear set of guidelines that align with industry standards for the provision of public art.
