This workshop shows how to leave a thoughtful legacy, not piles of stuff. Swedish Death Cleaning, a philosophy on life, death, and what we leave behind.

The grave has no pockets as they say. Laura Monisse is here to take you through a journey of mindfulness and intention as we explore what "stuff" means to us and how it can add and take away from our lives, and deaths,

Learn how this approach to organising can help you cherish your belongings, responsibly rehome items, and create a life of purpose and simplicity.

Together, we'll explore:

  • The philosophy behind Swedish Death Cleaning and its benefits

  • Why we hold onto things and how to let go with intention

  • Practical strategies for simplifying your belongings and space

  • How to responsibly dispose, donate, or recycle unwanted items

  • Tips for passing on meaningful keepsakes and heirlooms

  • Living a more abundant life with less (whatever that means to you)

This will be an interactive session. You'll have the opportunity to share your experiences, learn and connect with fellow participants and develop a deeper understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and solutions that come with Swedish death cleaning.

Whether you're new to Swedish death cleaning, or have experienced the loss of a loved one and are looking for guidance on what to do with their belongings, this workshop is inclusive of individuals of all ages and from all walks of life.
