Yagan Mia Djinanginy invites you to slow down and look deeply.
In Noongar, Djinanginy speaks to the act of looking, seeing, and paying close attention. This exhibition brings together the voices, observations and creative responses of Noongar artists in a shared process of cultural mapping. As custodians of this Boodja, they are connected to Yagan Mia through Country, memory and story.
Bringing together handcrafted cultural artefacts, photography, language and creative making, this site-responsive exhibition is led by Jayden Boundry, underpinned by the cultural guidance of Ian Wilkes and documented by Phil Sillifant. This gentle unfolding of place honours what is seen, what is felt and what Boodja reveals over time.
