Come along to our interactive Kids' Worm Workshop to learn loads of fun facts about earthworms and their role in recycling and in our soils. Each participating child will make a worm pack containing worms & worm poo to take home and bury in their garden 🌱
This is not a 'drop and leave' event. All people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible parent/carer. Parents/carers are responsible for the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Please bring appropriate clothing for getting messy in soil.
Type of event and expectations
Primary level classroom rules apply - Children should be capable of following instructions of program facilitator and must be able to sit calmly for the duration of the presentation. Parents and caregivers are responsible for the health and safety of their children at all times and should be available to support children if required. Quiet spaces will be available for this event.

Please consider using public transportation. A bus stop, just a 2-minute walk away, is conveniently located near EcoHub and services multiple routes.
EcoHub is located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop in the Piney Lakes Reserve. To reach us, if heading westbound, take the first left after Murdoch Drive on Leach Highway. If coming from the Fremantle area, continue on Leach Hwy across Murdoch Drive and use the designated U-turn just after the lights to move to the westbound lanes. Go back through the lights at Murdoch Drive and take the first left. Please park in the signed public carpark.

Recycling hub
Bring the following items in household quantities for recycling at EcoHub when you attend: household batteries, printer cartridges, light globes, mobile phones and chargers, plastic bread tags, oral care products, plastic bottle lids, metal bottle lids, beer can clips and corks.
