Let your toddler learn and explore nature through Alton's interactive storytelling. An outdoor, active yarning time for kids.

Looking for a local, free activity for your little ones? Does your toddler love stories and learning about animals?

Join Alton Walley on alternating Wednesdays for an interactive morning of storytelling and nature play.

Children will:

  • Listen to beautiful Noongar Dreaming stories

  • Act out the movements of native animals

  • Explore nearby bushland

  • Enjoy simple craft activities

This joyful session encourages imagination, movement, and connection to the land we live on.

Open to all families - everyone is warmly welcome.

This storytime is suited for children aged ~2-4 years. Families are welcome to stay after storytime to play in our nature play area, which includes lots of opportunities for messy play so please dress children appropriately with outdoor clothing and enclosed shoes.

An alternate indoor space will be made available in the case of wet weather with indoor activities.

Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Storytime with Alton is part of our ongoing toddler program at EcoHub, including; Buds & Blooms Nature Play Group, Tales & Trails Storytime, and Free Play.
