Story Stones
Children will design and decorate their very own set of story stones, transforming smooth stones into colourful characters, magical settings, mysterious objects, and exciting story prompts. Once their creations are complete, participants can mix, match, and arrange their stones to invent endless adventures and retell stories in brand-new ways.
From dragons and treasure maps to castles, forests, and curious creatures, every combination sparks a new tale waiting to be told. Perfect for imaginative minds, this playful activity encourages creativity, storytelling, problem-solving, and open-ended play while giving children a unique keepsake to continue creating stories at home.
Booking Information
Children under 13
Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of this activity.
Please book an accompanying adult ticket with the child/children attending the session.
Cancellation
If you are no longer able to attend, please contact the library as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone on the waitlist.
If you are unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home and notify the library when possible.

Waitlist
Many of our sessions are very popular, which is why tickets are released one week in advance.
If a session is fully booked, we encourage you to join the waitlist. Places are often offered to waitlisted participants when cancellations occur.
