Let creativity run wild in this hands-on ReMida session using a wide range of reclaimed and sustainable materials. Children can invent, build and create unique artworks or constructions while exploring open-ended play and creative thinking.
Ideal for slightly older children, but activities will be adapted for the age range on the day by the experienced ReMida staff. Everyone welcome!
Please note: this is not a drop & go event. Guardians are expected to stay for the duration of the event.

Type of event and expectations
Children's workshop space - Children are expected to follow instructions of the program facilitator and be respectful at all times. Participants must be capable of following safety instructions. Quiet spaces will be available for this event. Parents/carers are responsible for the safety and well-being of children at all times and should remain on site for the duration of the events (multiple seating areas are available to parents/carers while at EcoHub).

Please consider using public transportation. A bus stop, just a 2-minute walk away, is conveniently located near EcoHub and services multiple routes.
EcoHub is located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop in the Piney Lakes Reserve. To reach us, if heading westbound, take the first left after Murdoch Drive on Leach Highway. If coming from the Fremantle area, continue on Leach Hwy across Murdoch Drive and use the designated U-turn just after the lights to move to the westbound lanes. Go back through the lights at Murdoch Drive and take the first left. Please park in the signed public carpark.

Bring the following items in household quantities for recycling at EcoHub when you attend: household batteries, printer cartridges, light globes, mobile phones and chargers, plastic bread tags, oral care products, plastic bottle lids, metal bottle lids, beer can clips and corks.
