Marking 10 years, Momentum Dance Perth, one of Australia's few contemporary dance companies dedicated to mature-age performers, presents PENGUIN, a powerful new work created by acclaimed Australian choreographer Scott Ewen.

Inspired by the quiet poetry of social mimicry, PENGUIN explores how people adapt, support and shape one another through moments of change, uncertainty, love and loss.
Through powerful physicality and intimate storytelling, the work reveals our desire to belong, to gather together, and to find strength in community. As memories resurface and relationships evolve, the performers navigate a world where the body becomes both witness and storyteller.

About Scott Ewen
Choreographer Scott Ewen is an acclaimed Australian contemporary dance artist whose career spans performance, choreography and education across Australia and internationally. Over the past twelve months he has collaborated with Momentum Dance Perth to create PENGUIN.
