Creative Threads @ AH Bracks Library

Unleash your creativity and transform simple threads into colourful works of art in this hands-on string art workshop inspired by stories, characters, and imagination!

Using pins, vibrant threads, and plenty of creativity, children will design and create their very own string art masterpiece. Participants can follow a template inspired by books and storytelling or invent an original design completely from their imagination.

As colourful patterns and shapes come to life thread by thread, children will explore creativity, design, and mindful making while creating a unique artwork to take home and display with pride.

Children under 13

• Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of this activity.

• Please book an accompanying adult ticket with the child/children attending the session.

Cancellation

• If you are no longer able to attend, please contact the library as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone on the waitlist.

• If you are unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home and notify the library when possible.

Waitlist

• Many of our sessions are very popular, which is why tickets are released one week in advance.

• If a session is fully booked, we encourage you to join the waitlist. Places are often offered to waitlisted participants when cancellations occur.
