Alike WA’s fourth annual Blokes @ Bridges Walk returns this year for Men’s Health Week, bringing the community together at the Swan River Rowing Club for a morning focused on connection, awareness, and wellbeing.
We'll begin with a special keynote address by former professional basketballer and mental health advocate, Greg Hire. Greg will share real insights on resilience, connection, and the importance of looking out for one another, as a passionate mental health advocate and the founder @ director of A Stitch in Time, an organisation dedicated to raising mental health awareness and providing support to those in need.
From there, a scenic riverside walk with two distance options:
- 3km return walk
- 7km loop
After the walk, we'll return to the Swan River Rowing Club for morning tea and the chance to connect with local support groups and community organisations focused on men's health and wellbeing.
Everyone is welcome - men, women, families, carers, and support workers.
