My Community Grants
My Community Grants are currently under review, applications for these grants are closed until further notice.

We are currently reviewing our My Community Grants to ensure they align with our new Council Plan and best support the evolving needs of our community. As part of this process, applications will not reopen for 25/26 while we refine funding priorities, improve accessibility, and enhance the overall impact of these programs.
 
We understand that funding opportunities are important to community groups, and we are committed to providing clear updates throughout this review period. We will share details on the updated grant programs as soon as they become available.
 
In the meantime, we encourage community groups to explore alternative funding sources, which can be found at https://grantguru.com/au/melville

1. Why are the grants currently on pause?
We are reviewing My Community Grants to ensure they align with our new Council Plan. This review will help us improve accessibility, refine funding priorities, and maximise the impact of these programs for our community.
2. How long will the review process take?
Updates on the reopening of grants and any changes to the application process will be shared as soon as they are finalised
3. Are there any alternative funding options available?
Yes, we encourage community groups to explore other funding opportunities. A list of alternative funding sources in your area can be found via Grant Guru.
4. What happens to 2024/25 My Community Grant applications that were in submitted before the pause?
Applications for My Community Grants before 31 March 2025 are still being processed and applicants will be contacted directly on the outcome of their application.
