Triathlon Swim and Run Training 

LeisureFit offers triathlon training programs for all ages, skill sets and fitness levels.  Whether you're a novice or a seasoned triathlon competitor seeking an added dimension to your training, our Triathlon Australia accredited coaches can help you improve your fitness, skill and performance.

Our coaches will tailor a program specific to your training goals to help you maximise results and increase performance on race day.

Athletic Session Times 

Up to five sessions per week 

Training coverage for general fitness and competitions involving triathlon, open water, adventure races plus more. This includes specialist programming for key events such as:

  • IronmanWA
  • Rottnest Channel Swim
  • Busselton 70.3 Triathlon
  • Perth Marathon

Swim

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5.30am (1.5 hour endurance session)
  • Wednesday at 6.00pm (1 hour technique and introduction to squads session)

Run

  • Tuesday at 5.15pm (1 hour technique, speed and endurance session). All sessions run at LeisureFit Booragoon.

Meet our Coaches

Our coaching team are experienced and accomplished in the sport of triathlon. Michael and Jacinta are passionate about helping their athletes develop both personally and competitively. 

Having competed at a professional level, our coaches have extensive experience of the demands necessary to train for events in solo, duathlon and triathlon.

  • Michael (TWA Accredited) has been a part of the LeisureFit team for over 10 years. Michael is a Triathlon Australia Development Coach and is currently working towards his Performance Coach accreditation. 

    Michael competed in the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championships (Nice, France) and became State Champion in Standard Distance, finishing with Triathlete of the Year for 2019/2020. Michael specialises in long distance running and is passionate about helping his athletes develop both personally and competitively.

  • Jacinta (TWA Accredited) is a Triathlon Australia Development Coach. Jacinta joined our program in 2019 and has been coaching for almost a decade.

    Jacinta is a State Champion in Duathlon, Gold medallist in Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, reached the podium in four half Iron Man events and has competed in the World Championships for Duathlons and Olympic distance.

    Jacinta specialises in mid-distance running and is enthusiastic in teaching correct techniques both in the wet and dry side of triathlon training.
