Join Museums and Local History in the City of Melville to celebrate the opening of Yagan Mia Djinanginy — an exhibition inviting you to slow down, look deeply and pay close attention.
In Noongar language, Djinanginy speaks to the act of looking, seeing and observing. Bringing together handcrafted cultural artefacts, photography, language and creative making, this site-responsive exhibition is led by Jayden Boundry, underpinned by the cultural guidance of Ian Wilkes and documented by Phil Sillifant. This gentle unfolding of place honours what is seen, what is felt and what Boodja reveals over time.
