Launch Lab with Edgy X

In this hands-on STEM experience, participants will design, build, test, and launch their very own air-powered rockets while exploring the exciting science behind flight. Working in teams, children will experiment with forces, pressure, momentum, and aerodynamics as they modify their rocket designs to see whose creation can fly the furthest and fastest.

Packed with problem-solving, teamwork, and plenty of thrilling launches, this interactive workshop encourages children to think like engineers while having an absolute blast. Perfect for curious minds who love building, experimenting, and discovering how things work.

Children under 13

• Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of this activity.

• Please book an accompanying adult ticket with the child/children attending the session.

Cancellation

• If you are no longer able to attend, please contact the library as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone on the waitlist.

• If you are unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home and notify the library when possible.

• Many of our sessions are very popular, which is why tickets are released one week in advance.

• If a session is fully booked, we encourage you to join the waitlist. Places are often offered to waitlisted participants when cancellations occur.
