Illustration is the art of storytelling, informing or demonstrating text both imagined and actual. Whether it is illustrating your feelings, mood, something in front of you, working from a photograph, or responding to a brief, the focus, challenge and pleasure of taking the time to translate any of the above into a 2D image on paper is immeasurable.
This fun session for adults will give you an understanding of simple storyboarding and some drawing techniques as you produce sample artworks.
All materials provided, just bring yourself!

About the presenter:
Julie is practising visual artist/designer and writer with a keen interest in illustration which has led to various commissions including a children’s book, illustration for costume and set design, non-fiction books and magazine illustrations, corporate booklets, theatre programs, book covers and the International Women’s Day postcard (year 2000).
