Local community members are invited to a relaxed networking event at the EcoHub to connect with like-minded people and strengthen our collective efforts to create positive change towards an ecologically sustainable future.
Whether you have a new idea or problem to solve, are open to volunteering, are part of an established group or project, or are just curious, this is a space to share, learn, and collaborate.
This event welcomes those interested in:
Building local leadership for sustainability action
Strengthening community resilience to climate and environmental shocks
Sustainable energy and reducing emissions
Sustainable transport
Climate sensitive food choices and growing food
Waste reduction and the circular economy
Increasing biodiversity
Sessions will run every two months.

Adult social event - This is a casual/networking event, all adults welcome, please be respectful to each other and your environment. Guests assume responsibility for their own safety. (Older children with an interest in participating and accompanied by a parent are also welcome.)

One ACROD parking bay is available at front of EcoHub, rooms are located on multiple levels via a ramp and toilets are available within the venue. For specific access requirements please feel free to call or email EcoHub at (08)9364 0191 or [email protected].

Directions to EcoHub
Please consider using public transportation. There are several bus stops just a 2-minute walk away from EcoHub which service multiple routes.
EcoHub is located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop in Piney Lakes Reserve. To reach us, if heading westbound, take the first left after Murdoch Drive on Leach Highway. If coming from the Fremantle area, continue on Leach Highway across Murdoch Drive and use the designated U-turn just after the lights to move to the westbound lanes. Go back through the lights at Murdoch Drive and take the first left. Please park in the signed public carpark.

Recycling Hub
Bring the following items in household quantities for recycling at EcoHub: household batteries, printer cartridges, light globes, mobile phones and chargers, plastic bread tags, oral care products, plastic bottle lids, metal bottle lids, beer can clips and corks.
