Not sure when to start toilet learning, or feeling stuck? Join us for a free, relaxed info session for parents, grandparents and carers of babies and toddlers from 6 months to 3 years, and anyone whose little one is starting kindy still in nappies.
Presented by Roberta Keown, Centre Manager and registered Early Childhood Teacher with over 30 years in Western Australian early childhood education, the session covers:
- Why starting earlier helps and what the research says
- A gentle stage by stage approach from babyhood to independence
- Standing nappy changes and simple routines for home
- Handling accidents, refusal and setbacks calmly
- Keeping tummies happy to avoid constipation.
There will be plenty of time for your questions.
Wednesday 28 October, 6 pm, at MindChamps Attadale, 568 Canning Highway, Attadale. Free, with light refreshments and a creche available. Open to all City of Melville families, whether or not your child attends MindChamps.
