COVID-19 Information
The City of Melville is currently accepting booking providing COVID-19 restrictions are adhered to by the hirer. During the Covid 19 restrictions all Applicants are required to provide a Covid 19 Safety Plan (as per WA Government requirements) and keep a log, or register of all participants and their phone numbers for the purpose of contact tracing. It's also strongly recommended to provide evidence of Australian Government COVID 19 infection control training. These documents MUST be maintained by the hirer for each booking date, and be available upon request from inspecting authorities. The Applications must keep up-to-date with the current advice and directives issued by the State and Federal Governments.
Hire Information
The City of Melville has a number of reserves suitable for large or small private functions. So whether it’s for your birthday, a child’s birthday party, family reunions or an organised gathering, the City can offer a number of reserves to choose from.
It’s important that approval is obtained prior to using a reserve for an organised function. Approval must be gained if any structures or if a third party contractor is proposed to be included/operating as part of the booking, such as a bouncy castle or petting zoo. This will help to ensure that the reserve is not closed for maintenance or that the venue is not already been used for a wedding, triathlon, a public event or another function.

Once the application is received it is reviewed by relevant Service Areas. Please submit the application at least 10 working days ahead of the proposed function date to ensure adequate time to receive approval.
