Measuring the effectiveness of the CSS
We often get queries from the community about what the Community Safe Service (CSS) does and how we measure the effectiveness of the service. Please refer to the CSS Goals and Objectives table to see how the CSS contributes to our broader goals, and how we measure the success of our efforts.
In 2017, the CSS was independently reviewed by a Murdoch University Criminology Graduate. The review found CSS to be innovative in that it took a proactive, multi-dimensional approach to community safety and crime prevention. The review also identified some areas of improvement which resulted in us making some changes to improve the service. Download the full Review Report.
