Troy Park is a well-used sporting reserve in the City of Melville and home to Attadale Bombers Junior Football Club, Bicton Junior Cricket Club, Y Striders and local community and environmental groups. To meet the current and future needs of our local sporting clubs and the community, the Troy Park Clubroom redevelopment will transform the existing facility into a modern, fit for purpose and accessible multiuse sporting hub.
Key upgrades in this project include:
- Upgraded clubroom and amenities
- Improved storage facilities
- Universal accessible toilet facilities
- A dedicated umpire’s room
- New community meeting and activity space to support local groups and events
- New unisex changerooms to better accommodate the growing number of female players.
The redevelopment is supported by $1million from the State Government, together with a $3.5 million contribution from the City of Melville.
The project is part of the WA Government’s PlayOn WA, an exciting initiative to deliver 2,030 community infrastructure items across WA by 2030.
The City of Melville thanks the State Government for its support and continues to work closely with our local clubs and user groups to deliver these important improvements at Troy Park.
What to expect during construction:
- Playground to remain open, a small section will be temporarily fenced for safety.
- Parking impacts, parking remains available, however some bays may be temporarily impacted.
- Half-court closed, will be closed for the duration of the construction.
