Spaces to learn and catch up! Our Libraries provide spaces to study, relax, learn, catch up on the latest news and do business away from the office or home.
You can even drop in for a coffee and a yummy treat at the Boab Cafe in Civic Square Library.

Computers
Free public access computers are available at:

- AH Bracks Library
- Bull Creek Library
- Wilgi Kaartdijin Mia Willagee Library
You can access the Internet, email, social media applications ie: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc, Microsoft Office.
Wi-Fi
All libraries have free public Wi-Fi available. Just connect your device to the network called "melvillewifi" and accept the conditions of use.
The maximum duration for melvillewifi sessions is four hours. Your device will be automatically disconnected after this time but should you need longer, just reconnect to melvillewifi again to start another session.
Technology Training
Whether you're new to technology or looking to build on what you already know, we can help you to increase your level of confidence. We offer a range of free technology training options.

Meeting Room Hire
There are a range of meeting rooms available for hire in the AH Bracks Library / LeisureFit Melville building, bookings are managed by the team at LeisureFit Melville. Find out more details.
Home Delivery Service
Our home delivery service offers delivery of library materials to those who are physically unable to visit the library in person. The service provides delivery of books, magazines, audio books and other items to residents throughout the City of Melville.

Volunteering at Libraries
Do you want to get involved with your local library? Volunteering opportunities are available at our libraries for shelving library resources, selecting items for our home delivery members, preparing storytime craft, cleaning DVDs and audio discs, basic computer help and much more.
Join a fantastic work environment, help the community and stay active. On the job training will be provided. For more information ask at your local library or call us on 9364 0124.
Justice of the Peace Service
A volunteer Justice of the Peace is in attendance at Bull Creek Library to act as an independent and objective witness to documents used for official legal purposes.
No bookings needed. Please note our JPs are volunteers and there may be occasions when they are unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. You may wish to phone us on 9364 0150 on the day to confirm the JP is in attendance.
Availability:
- Mondays, 4.30pm to 6.30pm
- Saturdays, 9.00am to 12noon [unavailable 12 April 2025]

Tax Help
Free assistance with your tax return from a Tax Help volunteer at Civic Square Library (Booragoon).
Appointments available during July and August each year. Please contact library staff on 9364 0138 to make a booking.
To use the Tax Help service you must have:
- an income of around $60,000 or less
- simple tax affairs
