It offers an amazing playground, barbecues, a large amphitheatre with ample space for people to relax and enjoy the facilities.
Kadidjiny is located on the old Melville Primary School site. The City of Melville redeveloped the site to install this 9.5 million dollar park which opened to the public in late 2010.

Park Hire Information
The Amphitheatre Area
It is recommended that large organised groups place a booking for the amphitheatre area at Kadidjiny Park. The park is very busy and a number of bookings and events are requested to be held at this reserve throughout the year. Although this area cannot be booked for exclusive use, we do ensure that only one booking is accepted for the specified date and times.
Please note there are some things you can't do or bring to this reserve:
- Bouncy castles and marquees are only permitted with required approval
- Pegs/stakes are not permitted to secure structures or bouncy castles. Weights must be used to secure any structures (such as marquees)
- No confetti is permitted
Other important information to note when making a booking:
- Bookings are not accepted for Public Holidays, 18th and 21st birthday parties
- All bookings will be considered tentative until full payment is made
