Youth Ballet WA presents Don Quixote

Join Youth Ballet WA and Charlesworth Ballet for their pocket production of the classic Spanish tale, Don Quixote.

Featuring striking costumes, choreography that excites, and a talented cast of young dancers performing alongside established professional artistes, this hour-long romantic comedy is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its witty humour and fiery, passionate spirit!

The ballet follows Don Quixote on his knightly adventure in search of his dream maiden, Dulcinea. On his journey, he meets the vivacious lovers Kitri and Basilio, who are contending with Kitri’s father, Lorenzo, for his blessing to be united in marriage. As Don Quixote ventures away from his village and discovers gypsies and encounters cupids, we are invited to believe in the beauty and power of true love along with him.
