Dyoondalup Point Walter viewing platforms temporarily closed

The viewing platforms at Dyoondalup Point Walter are temporarily closed from 17 August 2026 until late September while essential maintenance works are completed.
The platforms will be removed to complete the repairs and reinstalled once works are complete.
For your safety, please stay clear of the closed areas and follow any onsite signage.

Queensland fruit fly (Qfly) detection
Qfly has been detected in the suburbs of Como and South Perth. The City of Melville is in the orange zone of the Quarantine Area meaning:
Host fruit and fruiting vegetables must not be moved outside of the Orange Zone unless they have been treated.
Host fruit and fruiting vegetables moving within the Orange Zone or into the Red Zone must be maintained under secure conditions (covered, in packaging, fully enclosed or screened buildings) to ensure the produce does not become infested.

The ORS Careers Expo is coming to the Blue Gum Community Centre on Thursday, 10 September from 9:30am to 12:30pm. This free event is designed to connect motivated job seekers living with a mental health condition with potential employers and provide information about employment opportunities and support pathways. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with employers, explore job options, and gain valuable insights into the workforce in a welcoming and supportive environment.
