Celebrating west coast creativity at its best, the exhibition offers audiences a rare chance to see experimental art that’s as surprising as it is insightful. Expect works that span a wide spectrum of ideas and practices:
- Bryce Olsen deconstructs symbols of power through sculpture;
- Brighde O’Hara transforms textiles into dreamlike, intimate landscapes;
- Amy Perejuan-Capone honours bees as keystone species;
- Bennett Miller reimagines the optimism of the space race through sculptural works;
- Pip Lewi critiques suburban ideals with playful, uncanny constructions;
- Andrew Varano presents new explorations in installation; and
- Mohammed ‘Ayo Busari’ creates an immersive sonic world weaving echoes of diaspora, memory and resilience.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, 20 September 2025 from 5.00pm with an evening of live music, a full bar, great food and spectacular views over the Derbal Yerrigan, featuring Goolugatup Sounds with performances by Ayo Busari, Melānija, and dj Sliding Doors.
