At the 17 June 2025 Ordinary Meeting of Council, Council endorsed a concept design for the future Moreau Mews Town Square, choosing the option without parking to prioritise green space, as guided by community feedback.
The endorsed design includes open turf, a barbecue area, shelter, playspace, interactive water feature, café/community space with accessible toilets, space for public art, and a streetscape upgrade.
A $150,000 budget has been approved to progress detailed design, and demolition of existing buildings will occur to prepare the site.
