Thank you to everyone who contributed to the conversation about the future of Kearns Crescent. Following several rounds of engagement and careful consideration of costs and feedback, Council resolved not to proceed with the proposed streetscape upgrade.
At the August 2025 Ordinary Meeting of Council, it was resolved that:
- The City will carry out road resurfacing and basic renewal of assets in the precinct, with works to commence within the 2026/2027 financial year.
- The works for the eastern and western sides of Kearns Crescent will be scheduled to be done separately and consecutively, to minimise disruption to business activity in the area.
