MARKYT® Community Scorecard and Wellbeing Survey
Our 2023 Markyt® Community Scorecard was open from Monday, 9 October to Monday, 30 October. The survey asked the community to rate our services, events, programs and facilities, and tell us where we are performing well and what we need to focus on and improve. The survey also asked the community to rate various aspects that contribute to their quality of life, community participation, work, education and personal finance to give us an important indicator of their wellbeing.
This survey was the first step of a broad engagement program - Our Future Melville - with our community to undertake a major review of both our Strategic Community Plan 2020-2030 and Corporate Business Plan 2020-2024. The review helped us understand our community's priorities for the coming years to inform the development of our Council Plan, which brings together the updated Strategic Community Plan 2024-2034 and Corporate Business Plan 2024-2028 to create one cohesive, coordinated and integrated Council Plan for the Future 2024-2034.
This independent and confidential survey was completed by Catalyse on behalf of the City of Melville. We will share the results in the coming weeks once available. The results are then compared to previous years as well as other local governments in WA to understand how we are performing over time as well as in comparison to other local governments.
