Every two years we conduct MARKYT® Community and Business Scorecards to measure community and business satisfaction with the products and services we offer. Find out more about the scorecards and access the latest results below.
About the MARKYT® Community and Business Scorecard
The MARKYT® Community and Business Scorecards provide us with key feedback on our services, infrastructure and facilities so we can identify areas we are performing well in and areas for improvement.
Feedback is collected via a 5-10 minutes survey where survey participants are asked to rate our overall performance, how the City is performing as an organisation , as well as the performance of our products and services.
To ensure participants are representative of the demographics of our City, the final dataset is weighted by age and gender to match the latest Census results.
An external agency conducts the scorecards for us and sends email invitations to 10,000 random households (Community Scorecard). This is supplemented by further email invitations if we don’t get enough responses from a particular age group or gender. The Business Scorecard is done through CATI (computer assisted telephone interviews) and 100 random businesses are called to participate.
The results are then compared to previous years as well as other local governments in WA to understand how we are performing over time as well as in comparison to other local governments.
