Goolugatup Lower Lands Car Park

Construction of a new car park at Goolugatup Lower Lands began in the week starting Monday, 16 March 2026. The project is expected to take several weeks to complete, with works carefully staged to minimise disruption and accommodate scheduled community events within the precinct.

Kerbing completed to the western half. Works have now progressed to the eastern half, with initial set-out and box-out in progress.

When a road surface condition becomes poor or defective, rehabilitation or resurfacing work is needed to restore the pavement surface to the required level of service.

Road Sweeping

The City’s level of service for street sweeping is to sweep all City roads (excluding carparks) four times annually. This equates to once every 3 months and is subject to a number of factors, i.e. weather conditions, mechanical maintenance, breakdowns and operator illness etc....
