Venue Hire at EcoHub

The City of Melville EcoHub operates as a venue for programs and events centered around sustainability and the environment.
 
Therefore, prospective hirers should be mindful that utilizing this venue requires demonstrating how their events and organisations align with our overarching values and goals.

Rooms Available for Hire

There are four rooms available for hire at EcoHub which can be viewed on our SpaceToCo page.

    Binjar Room

    Meaning lake/swamp this room represents the significance of the wetlands at Piney Lakes Reserve. With a capacity to accommodate up to 75 individuals, this versatile space is equipped with a smart TV, ideal for engaging presentations, online meetings, or workshops.
     

    Marlak Room

    Meaning bush/bushland this room represents the significance of all the different native plants growing in Piney Lakes Reserve. Designed to accommodate up to 85 individuals, this room is furnished with additional chairs and tables, making it an ideal space for interactive group sessions, workshops, and collaborative activities.

    Moodjar Room

    Named after Western Australian Christmas tree, Moodjar Room is the ultimate space for your private and intimate gatherings at EcoHub. With a capacity to comfortably accommodate up to 25 guests, this space is specifically designed to cater to a variety of needs, from professional meetings to tranquil children's story time sessions. What sets the Moodjar Room apart is its serene ambiance and separation from other areas within the centre. No distractions, perfect for productivity and engagement. 

    Ngoolark Room

    Native trees and remnant pines at Piney Lakes Reserve are an important source of food for the endangered Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo, also known as Ngoolark. This versatile space is well-suited for hands-on workshops, art projects, nature-inspired play, and exploration, offering a wealth of intriguing specimens to observe. Additionally, the room conveniently connects to an outdoor amphitheatre, providing ample opportunities for activities.

    Opening Hours 

    Hirable hours: 7am – 10pm, 7 days a week
    Staffed hours: We endevour to be open to the public 9am – 4pm, weekdays (excluding public holidays).
