George Humes Park

Park Facilities

• NOTE - We are currently working with the family of George Humes on the renewal of the signage for the park.
• Mature trees offer wonderful natural shade and interest to the park
• A small grassed seating area to sit and relax
• Central art floor mosaic – with discovery for young and old
• Natural timber bench seats and picnic settings throughout the park, with a series of artworks undertaken by Melville Senior High School Students connecting to place and the history of George Humes
• A series of small informal nature play and art discovery elements
• A drink fountain for bottle refill
• A toilet and plenty of parking
• Dogs permitted – on leash only
