H5 bird flu detection

H5 bird flu has been detected in Western Australia. If you notice multiple sick or dead birds or other animals, you should not touch them or get too close. Avoid contact. Record what you see. Report it to the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

Queensland fruit fly (Qfly) detection
Qfly has been detected in the suburbs of Como and South Perth. The City of Melville is in the orange zone of the Quarantine Area meaning:
Host fruit and fruiting vegetables must not be moved outside of the Orange Zone unless they have been treated.
Host fruit and fruiting vegetables moving within the Orange Zone or into the Red Zone must be maintained under secure conditions (covered, in packaging, fully enclosed or screened buildings) to ensure the produce does not become infested.

Youth All-ages LGBTQIA+

This workshop aims to create more inclusive communities. It explores the difference between sex, sexuality and gender. It also provides statistics and lived experiences of LGBTIQA+ individuals.

The workshop focuses on creating safe spaces, addressing stigma and promoting allyship.
