06 August 2026

Join us as author and historian Richard Offen takes us through his latest edition of Perth Then and Now. This ever-popular book is a fascinating visual tour of the history of Perth.

Past and present are laid side by side in this fascinating visual tour around the capital of Western Australia. Perth Then and Now matches historic photographs of the city with specially commissioned contemporary views, in this revised and updated edition that show how each location looks today. Discover Perth’s transition from a humble settlement along the Swan River to a prosperous Victorian gold town, and its evolution into the dynamic, grandiose and cosmopolitan city it is today.
