Join us for our free Active in the Park fitness classes and help keep yourself and your family fit and active. A range of classes on offer such as Yoga, Active Light, Functional Fitness, Tunes for Tots and Active With a Bark.

Active With a Bark!

Fitness has never been so much furry fun!

Are you a dog owner wanting to join a fitness class but feel guilty leaving your pooch at home? Do you love exercising AND dogs, but don’t have a dog? Would you like to combine both these passions and have lots of laughs?

Come and try our FIRST EVER ‘Active With A BARK’ exercise class! This is a trial class and we’re super excited to give it a go if you are!

The FREE class will involve a variety of bodyweight exercises and low impact moves. Your furry friend must be well socialised and remain on a lead during the class.  

This class will run on Thursday, 23 January 8.30am - 9.15am at Shirley Strickland Reserve, Mount Pleasant.

Seniors participating in Active Light

Active Light

Basic, low impact moves for those starting out or wanting a simple, fun class. Perfect for seniors!

This class runs on Tuesday's, 8.30am to 9.15am.

Active Light runs outdoors at Jeff Joseph Reserve, Applecross.

Functional Fitness

A variety of bodyweight and core exercises to strengthen and tone the entire body. Perfect for all ages!

This class runs on Monday's 6.00pm to 6.45pm.

Starting again in October at Tompkins Park, next to Dunkley Avenue car park.

Tunes For Tots

Dance, move, sing songs and have some fun with your little one. This class is suitable for children aged 2 years+.

This class runs on Wednesday's 9.30 to 10.00am.

Tunes for Tots runs outdoors at Point Walter for Spring.

Stretch and strengthen all parts of the body. Yoga helps improve posture, balance and flexibility. Don't forget to bring your Yoga mat. This class caters to all fitness levels, from beginners to seasoned Yogis.

This class runs on Saturday's at 7.15am to 8.00am.

Starting again in October at Point Walter (top) adjacent to the Tennis Courts.

Information About Inclement Weather

Please note that classes will not run if the temperature exceeds 35°C, and they may be cancelled if it rains.
