Providing everything upfront will help us process your application as quickly as possible and avoid delays.

Application Readiness

  • Before submitting your application, please make sure that:
    • You have reviewed and complied with all checklist requirements relevant to your proposal
    • All application forms have been fully completed and signed by all landowners where landowner signature is required and evidence of authority provided if signing on behalf of a company or organisation
    • A current Certificate of Title and/or Strata Plan is included (issued within the last six months)
    • The estimated construction cost has been calculated in accordance with Schedule 1
    • A Development Approval (DA) has been obtained, and relevant conditions have been complied with or cleared, or an exemption has been confirmed by Statutory Planning
    • The DA reference number has been provided, where applicable

Additional Requirements (Where Applicable)

  • Depending on your project, you may also need to provide:
    • A BA3 – Certificate of Design Compliance (CDC), including all documents referenced on the certificate
    • Evidence that the required Construction Training Fund (CTF) payment has been made, including a copy of the receipt
    • Home Indemnity Insurance (HII) or Owner Builder approval issued by the Building Commission

Adjoining Properties and Encroachments

  • Please ensure that:
    • The proposal does not include any encroachments or adversely affect adjoining properties
    • If there are encroachments or potential impacts, a completed BA20 consent form is provided
    • All accompanying plans are included and signed by each affected adjoining owner

Submitting Your Documents

  • To help ensure a smooth submission process, please check that all documents:
    • Are provided in PDF format
    • Are drawn to scale
    • Are free from password protection or security restrictions
    • Are optimised to minimise file size
    • Have clear, descriptive file names
  • File names should include the property address and document type, for example:
    10 Almondbury Road – Site Plan
    10 Almondbury Road – Elevations

Important Note

Your application session will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity. If this happens, you will need to restart the submission process

Applications which are missing substantial information may be returned and therefore will need to be re-lodged in order to be accepted

Applicants advised of missing information will be given 5 days to provide the information in order for the application to proceed for invoicing. If the requested information is not provided within 5 days or remains incomplete, your application will be returned and will need to be re-lodged in order to be accepted
