Financial assistance
The Melville Youth Sport Grant provides financial assistance to its young local athletes who have been selected to represent Western Australia or Australia in their chosen sport.
Applicants must:
- Be a resident of the City of Melville and be 18 years or younger at time of event.
- Have been selected by the State or National Sporting Association to represent Western Australia or Australia. A clear selection process will need to be demonstrated along with proof of selection.
- Be seeking funding to support travel costs, entry fees or any other costs to attend the competition.
- Applications must be submitted prior to event starting date. Retrospective applications will not be accepted.
- Successful applicants will only be eligible for the Youth Sport Grant once in any two-year period.
- The grant may be oversubscribed therefore funding cannot be guaranteed.
- Successful applicants may receive a one-off payment of $200.
