Michael is a proud husband, father of four children and teacher who possesses a strong passion for supporting students with special needs and the community as a whole.
He brings a strong history in volunteering for local junior sports clubs, community groups, and committees for:
- The Mel Maria School P&C,
- Attadale Netball Club,
- Roy park sports association,
- Attadale Junior Football Club,
- The Bicton – Palmyra RSL and
- The Fremantle Shivering Shags Winter Swimming Club.
When he’s not busy volunteering or teaching, he enjoys playing music in local rock bands while wearing loud shirts; a hobby attributed by his music education degree from the University of Western Australia.
Michael understands the importance of local clubs and groups, describing them as the “beating heart of our community”, and was recognised for his contributions when he received the City of Melville Community Citizen of the Year Award in 2024; this is a true testament to his love for the community.
He's committed to representing electors within his ward and the City of Melville as a whole and looks forward to hearing about any ideas or concerns residents bring to him.
