Nicole has lived in the City of Melville her whole life and has strong ties to the Bateman-Kardinya-Murdoch ward. She grew up in Kardinya, attending Kardinya Primary School, then Somerville Baptist College in Murdoch, and later studied at Murdoch University – all within the ward she now proudly represents.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics & Statistics, along with a Diploma of Education. She has spent most of her adult life teaching high school mathematics in local schools, helping students build confidence and skills that will serve them well into the future.
Outside of teaching, Nicole has been an active volunteer in the community. She has served on the boards of Kardinya Primary School and the Kulungah Myah Community Centre and has worked closely with a range of local groups, sporting and community-based, to support their goals and initiatives. Passionate about helping people, she enjoys working alongside residents to solve problems and make a positive difference.
Nicole believes local government plays a vital role in people’s everyday lives. She’s committed to ensuring the City continues to deliver high-quality core services, reviews its operations regularly, and keeps rates as low as possible while meeting the needs of the community.
Nicole would also like to sincerely thank her family for their ongoing support, especially her husband Brendan, whose encouragement and understanding have been invaluable throughout her journey.
Re-elected to represent the Bateman-Kardinya-Murdoch ward, Nicole is incredibly grateful for the trust and support shown by the community. She’s honoured to continue serving and looks forward to working with residents, local organisations, and her fellow Councillors to help make the City of Melville an even better place to live, work, and play.
