Unpaid Work Placements

We offer unpaid work experience placements to high-school, TAFE and university students, and anyone wanting to gain real-life experience working for a local government.

To submit an application, please complete our Unpaid Work Placements Online Application Form (below). This form is for unpaid work placement requests only. If you are seeking employment with the City of Melville, please visit our Careers and Working with Us page.

Please note we cannot guarantee a work placement, it will depend on capacity in the relevant team to supervise and provide mentorship. You will also be required to provide your own public liability insurance.
