The City of Melville Art Collection consists of over 290 two dimensional and small scupltural artworks, and supports local and Western Australian artists, records and reflects the cultural heritage and lifestyle of the community and enhances the City of Melville's civic and community buildings.
The collection is displayed within City of Melville Libraries, Community and Recreation Centres, and the Civic Centre. A selection of recently acquired artworks are displayed in the Collections Gallery at Goolugatup Heathcote Cultural Precinct.
The City of Melville has built a unique textile collection and many of these works are on display on the second floor of the Civic building.
