Deep Water Point Reserve

Deep Water Point Reserve is a busy little reserve, with a boat ramp, café, playground, gazebo and much more.

Located along The Esplanade Mount Pleasant, this reserve is a sought after spot for intimate wedding ceremonies with a maximum of 50 guests. Other events are not permitted in the reserve.

The Deep Water Point Reserve name is presumed to be descriptive for its location on Deep Water Point and was first shown on cancelled Public Plan F28-4 No.1 in May 1962.

Reserve Hire Information

The reserve is available for hire or functions with a capacity of up to 50 people.

Please note there are some things you can't do or bring to this reserve:  

  • Bouncy castles are not permitted 
  • Pegs/stakes are not permitted to secure structures. Weights must be used to secure any structures (such as marquees)
  • No confetti is permitted

Other important information to note when making a booking:

  • Bookings are not accepted for Public Holidays, 18th and 21st birthday parties
  • All bookings will be considered tentative until full payment is made

The reserve is busy with casual users, especially during the summer months and with limited parking, bookings are not accepted on weekends.

Please note this reserve is currently undergoing construction works, that are expected to be completed late 2018. See more information on this project.

The Deep Water Point Jetty was replaced in 2016.
