A practical Facebook workshop for small community groups and charities looking to improve engagement, visibility and impact.

Facebook can be a valuable tool to promote your organisation, its activities and events. But simply throwing a few posts up every now and then no longer has any impact, thanks to the algorithm changes, introduction of reels and change in user behaviour.
In this workshop you’ll find out what works and what doesn’t now, and how to make sure that the effort you put it is going to get you results that matter.

  • How to best set up your page to ensure you haven’t missed any easy wins

  • Making the most of pinned posts and featured sections to maximise visibility and engagement

  • How the algorithm works and how to work with it

  • What to post, when to post, and how often

  • Maximising your time investment when managing your Facebook page

  • Using Groups to grow your organisation and foster community engagement

  • The difference between Posts, Reels and Stories

Bring with you your laptop (and charger/mouse) and make sure that you have access to your organisations facebook page.

Coffee, tea and some light snacks will be provided throughout training 10am - 12.30pm. Lunch and question time 12.30pm - 1pm.
