The Willagee Community Centre offers a range of activities, events, workshops and programs to suit all ages and interests. From activities for children and young people to badminton, basketball to wellbeing classes, the Community Centre welcomes groups, families and individuals.

Hire Facilities

Willagee Community Centre offers for hire the Hall, Activity and Playgroup Rooms. Check out our Room Hire guide.

Unfortunately we do not hire the Centre for parties or functions.

What's On

Willagee Community Centre holds many events, workshops and activities throughout the year, from specialist one off events to regular ongoing activities.

  • The following activities are booked for the Youth Drop In program on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Community Centre during the school term. All activities are free and for participants aged 9-17. See below in the Activities section for more details

    3 Point Basketball Shootout
    Last Wednesday of the school term, each term.
    3.00pm - 4.00pm in the hall
    Boys/Girls winners get their names engraved on our trophy!

  • Donate your time for a good cause sewing Items to assist wildlife recovering from bushfires.

    There will be different work stations set- up in an assembly line style of pattern drawing, cutting and sewing.

    No sewing experience is required. Sewers can BYO sewing machines.  Some materials will be provided but more material is welcome.  Preferably cotton and natural fibers.

    When:  Four consecutive Saturday sessions, 8 & 25 January 1 & 8 February

    Time: 12.00pm to 4.00pm

    Cost: Free

  • A social Ukulele group that is part ukulele lesson and part jam.

    No musical experience required.

  • This four week course will upskill you to create a more ecofriendly household.  Topics may include creating compost, plastic free living, growing your own food and green cleaning.  Be informed and inspired by renowned tutor Shani Graham.
