From 1 July 2018 the Blue Gum Community Centre office will closed on Monday and Friday as staff will be working from other locations.

Community Centre activities will continue every day as scheduled and staff can still be contacted on 9364 0148 from Monday to Friday.

The Blue Gum Community Centre offers for hire a large open space main hall and a separate function room with adjoining kitchen.

  • Art and classical music come together in six relaxing and uplifting workshops for people with dementia, and their carers

    Dates: 11 October, 25 October, 8 November, 22 November and 29 November (Concert)

  • Presented by WA Council of Social Services (WACOSS), this workshop provides hands-on experience of what is involved in effective campaigns to achieve your organisation's aims. It will demonstrate how planning a campaign in advance can get better results and shows how social media can be used to gather support. It includes advice on how to make your case to decision-makers, politicians, local government and the public, as well as practical exercises on letter-writing and media releases. Participants will have the opportunity to use their own issues as the basis for the exercises and will receive a copy of the new WACOSS Advocacy Toolkit.

  • Come along to our Youth Drop In and hang out with other young people your age. Play some sport, watch a movie or enjoy one of our creative workshops. Snacks and cooking workshops provided! All Drop In activities are free for all participants.
