Summer Reading Club

Calling all Curious Creatures! We have partnered with those wonderful people at Fremantle Press to bring you the Summer Reading Club. Grab a Summer Reading Club activity book from your local library.

We would love for you write a book review. The reviews will be displayed in the library with spot prizes for all reviewers. Once you have reviewed a book you will be in the running for one of the major prizes. There are three piles of Fremantle Press books up for grabs at each branch.

Prize winners will be announced on Friday 25 January.

Happy summer reading!

Surf’s Up at Heathcote

Local artist, Fiona Buchanan paints beautiful waves in acrylics. We are lucky to have Fiona coming to Heathcote to run two art classes in January.

Under Fiona’s instruction you will paint a wild wave for a surfer. You will study the way a wave moves and understand the energy of waves then create your own wave on canvas. Buckle yourself in for a wild ride!
