The South of the River Potters' Club is celebrating their 42nd birthday.

Originally located in East Fremantle, the Club was founded by a group of recent graduates from Fremantle Tech, many of whom went on to become world renowned potters.

This retrospective exhibition will feature pots and potters from each of the four decades and a display of archival photographs and memorabilia from the early days. An exhibition and sale of current members' pots will help to highlight the evolution of techniques and styles in bespoke pottery over the four decades since the Club's foundation.

There will be guided tours of the exhibition and a highlight of the weekend will be a Master Class by renowned local potter and former member, Cher Shackleton. There will also be children's classes on Sunday.
