Starting 7.00pm on Thursday 7th February 2019 for our first session at Clancy’s Fish Pub, Canning Bridge, 903 Canning Hwy, Mt Pleasant (corner Ogilvie Rd).

Natalie and Jim will select a number of songs which will be taught over the 4 week period and the best of these will then be performed at this years City of Melville Point Walter Concert.

We will warm up with some fun classics first and then ‘work up’ a song to perform at the end of each session. No singing experience is necessary.  Pub Choir is all about joining in and being part of a group of non-professional singers, the emphasis is on FUN!

Weekly sessions will be held from 7.00pm to 9.30pm on:

  • Thursday 7th February
  • Thursday 14th February (Valentine’s Day – why not bring your date and enjoy dinner beforehand, or if you are dateless what a fun way to spend the night);
  • Thursday 21st February
  • Thursday 28th February

Come for one, two or all.

The culminating performance will happen at the Pt Walter Concert on Sunday 3rd March. Please note this is a long weekend so we hope enough of our choir members will be available to perform 2 or 3 songs on the night.

Please note Clancy’s will request a gold coin donation from participants with all funds going to support the St Patrick’s Starlight Hotel Choir. Many of the Choir members have experienced homelessness, hardship, and mental health issues and they find the choir a safe place for self-expression and creates a sense of belonging.

Parking is available on Ogilvie Rd and also over the pedestrian overpass at Moreau Mews.
