Bushfire Alert - Karel Avenue A Bushfire Advice is in place for people on both sides of Karel Avenue in an area bounded by Leach Highway to the north, Camm Avenue to the west, Parry Avenue and Burrendah Boulevard to the south and The Escarpment the east in parts of Willetton and Bull Creek. The alert level for this fire has been downgraded as the fire is now contained but not controlled. There is no threat to lives or homes. Although there is no immediate danger, you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes. Someone Has broken into the Library! Identify, collect, interpret and analyse the evidence and clues to solve the case.

Someone has broken into the library safe and stolen the cake sale money! Our young investigators must tape off the area in order to protect any evidence. Clues and evidence must be identified, collected, interpreted and analysed. These include fingerprints, impressions, hairs and fibres and 'blood', bones and DNA. Can you solve the mystery?

This workshop is suitable for children aged 8-12 years.

Please be advised that children under the age of 13 years are to be accompanied by an adult at this activity. Parents/Guardians are welcome to make themselves comfortable in the library during the activity but are asked to remain within the vicinity for the duration.

If you are unwell or cannot attend, please contact the library as soon as you are able to allow someone else to take your place.
