Ngalipa means ‘us together’ in the Wongai language of the Goldfields. This title forms the basis of this exhibition; six artists are brought together to examine ideas of reconciliation, friendship and difference, bound through art. These works focus on highlighting the beauty, vibrancy, magic and mystery of nature, of Country and the importance of our connection to nature/Country if we want to live in harmony. The works record individual and shared journeys on Country, acting as a visual archive to be preserved for future generations.
