Come join the fun at EcoHub’s indoor movie nights this school holidays! 🌊🎥 Enjoy a fintastic night watching Finding Dory! Free hot chocolate and popcorn on arrival. Bring your PJs and cozy up with friends and family for a heartwarming movie night in! 🐠🍿

Movie Summary:

The 2016 film Finding Dory is an animated adventure where forgetful fish Dory embarks on a journey across the ocean to reunite with her long-lost family. This comody and adventure film touches on environmental themes of:

  • the importance of ocean conservation,
  • marine life rehabilitation
  • the impact of pollution and human interference
  • endangered species and the need for protection
  • restoration of marine habitats

Finding Dory is rated G.

The movies have a run time of ~1 hour 50 minutes.

Start time

Movie will start once everyone is settled. Latecomers may not be admitted if it will disturb guests.

Family friendly social event - This is a casual event, all ages welcome, please be respectful to each other and your environment. Caregivers are responsible for the health and safety of their children at all times and should remove children if they are disturbing others, quiet spaces will be available at this event.

Accessible parking is available at front of EcoHub, rooms are located on multiple levels via a ramp and toilets are available within the venue. For specific access requirements please feel free to call or email the centre at (08)9364 0191 or piney.lakes@melville.wa.gov.au

Directions to centre

Please consider using public transportation. A bus stop, just a 2-minute walk away, is conveniently located near the Centre and services multiple routes.

EcoHub (formerly known as Piney Lakes Environemental Education Centre) is located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop in the Piney Lakes reserve. To reach us, if heading westbound, take the first left after Murdoch Drive on Leach Highway. If coming from the Fremantle area, continue on Leach Hwy across Murdoch Drive and use the designated U-turn just after the lights to move to the westbound lanes. Go back through the lights at Murdoch Drive and take the first left. Please park in the signed public carpark.
